The end of the year approaches!

Things to remember:

Our excursion this Thursday.

Please make sure your child has their hat, has applied sunblock and has more to reapply at recess. We will outdoors most of the day. If you are having trouble finding the money for the excursion, please see Mr Green or Mrs Rowley in the office to make arrangements for payment. Students may bring spending money up to $10.  Teachers and adults will NOT look after this money for them – it is entirely their responsibility. If you are a parent helper who cannot attend the excursion for any reason, PLEASE notify me via the front office as soon as possible. Also if your child is going to be away on excursion day, please phone the school office by 8.30am so that we do not delay the start of the trip waiting for them.

FRIDAY

Week 8 assembly is the last assembly for the year. All parents and carers are very welcome to attend.

Reports and class information will go home on Friday.  If you would like to make an appointment to see me in Week 9 to discuss your child’s report, please phone the front office or send me an email:

louisa.guest@hackhame.sa.edu.au

In week 9 there will 2 transition visits for your child to meet their new classmates. We may not be sure of who the teacher will be next year, but your child will benefit greatly from having some quality time with their new class mates. Weeks of planning, carefully deliberation and consultation across the school went into the class placement process. Your child has been placed in the class that will best suit their learning and social needs for 2009.

Regards,

Louisa Guest
