This is my story
One Saturday afternoon Sally, her mum and sally’s talking cat Milo were playing Voodoo Vince on Xbox. When they got to the 100th level it froze and some words popped up on the screen. The words said “Press the ‘Y’ button”, so Sally did. All of them got sucked into the Xbox. They found themselves in the game and turned into Voodoo dolls.
Sally started yelling out to Woof, her sister, and her brother, Bark. Woof could just hear Sally yelling and came running into the room, and so did Bark. They looked around and saw no one, so Sally yelled, ‘Look at the screen’. They did and saw Sally, Mum and Milo in it. Milo said “Play the game”, so Woof and Bark did.
An alien king said “You have three tries to get to the end and to get to the end you will have to answer my questions. If you get them wrong I will blow up your country and if you get to the end I will let you go and not blow up your country. Got it?”
‘Got what’ said Sally.
“DO YOU UNDERSTAND?”
“Oh yer I do. ‘Ok lets get started’ said Sally, but a door was in the way. So they knocked and the alien king said “Name five native animals.”
“Emu, Dingo, Platypus, Kangaroo and Wombat” said Sally and her mum really fast, at the same time. The door opened and Bark and Woof controlled Sally, Mum and Milo to the next door. The alien king said “Do you have wars with other countries?” Milo said “No’, but we help other countries.” The door opened and they got extra points. Woof and Bark made Sally kill all of the monsters so they could get to the next door. The alien king said “Tell me some things about your country”. Milo said “Why don’t we tell it a dreaming story’.” Her mum said” I will ask. ” Her mum asked if they could, the alien king said “yes.” Milo told the story it went a bit like this. A long time ago a colourful crow kept being mean to all the black & white birds, so one day a bird pecked the crow on the leg and all the birds in the world got colours and that’s how the birds got their colours.
The door opened and the king said “you win. I will not blow up your country and you are free to go.”
